An MOT is an annual test that ensures your vehicle meets the minimum standards set by the DVSA. We promise a fair test, 100% of the time — enter your registration, pick a branch, and choose a time that suits you.
To check if your electric or hybrid vehicle has a valid MOT and find out when your next test is due, visit the DVSA website and enter your registration number. Alternatively, check your current MOT certificate for the expiry date.
You can book your MOT at any time before it expires. To preserve your existing renewal date, the test must be carried out up to one month (minus a day) before your current MOT expires.
Example: MOT expires 27 June → earliest test date keeping the same renewal date is 28 May.
